AtCom fully realizes the importance of keeping any information shared
on our site safe and secure.
What information does AtCom collect about its customers?
The only information AtCom collects about our customers is contact information
and payment information required to process orders. We offer the option of
keeping a cookie on our customer's machine which will allow for this contact information
to be easily retrieved during future site visits, making the checkout process even
easier. This is completely voluntary--we provide a checkbox where a customer
can decide to decline the use of this cookie.
Note! For your protection, credit
card numbers, expiration dates, or any other credit related information is never
written to a cookie. A customer will have to provide credit card details at
every checkout transaction.
Tell me about these cookies!
- Cookies are small text files that a Web site is able to write to
a site visitor's hard drive. Being simple text files, they are not able to
do anything harmful to your system. Because they are able to store personal
information, it is important for a site not to include personal or sensitive information
in them.
Does AtCom Share the Information It Receives?
No!
How secure is my transaction with AtCom?
- We work to protect the security of customer information during transmission
by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information our customers
provide.
- Once a transaction is complete, we do not keep credit card numbers
in our database or on your computer.
- It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to
your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared
computer.
